Review of Queen’s - Accident & Emergency
16th April 2024

Because the waiting time on emergency was if 18 hours...staff its really tired and rude they look like they don't want to be in there.. I understand but are they choice to be in their..my one its not a pleasure to be at hospital .. if you ask a question no one will come up with an answer except we don't have doctors or you are not the only one who is waiting..

Suggested improvements
To care about more people and and I think everything will be much easier..and more doctors

All doctors and nurses were excellent and explained everything as we went along. They were very kind and understanding. When you go to hospital with an adrenal crisis, you worry if people know about it and what to do, I had no worries at all, everyone was brilliant.

Suggested improvements
Everything was brilliant.

I was given false information by a doctor in ED triage. I ended up having a bleed on the brain

Suggested improvements
Communicate in a timely manner and ensure patients are being told the correct information

I want to mention how clean the wards were. How hard working the portering staff worked, and how kind they were! The ward phlebotomy staff were amazing and kind. The neuro surgery outpatients staff were thorough and kind. The physio and ot staff were amazing and helped me to get home , and get home well. The nursing staff and doctors on Sahara a&b were super kind and super efficient

Review of Sunrise Ward A
15th April 2024

The care I received excelled any expectations. I was treated with kindness and compassion throughout. I witnessed all staff working so hard, whilst being stretched to capacity. It was a very dark time for me, and my family, but the kindness and expertise I received should be praised by management ! And rewarded.
